Answers: its a xbox headset question...help please.? so im playing halo 3 and i pluged my headset into the controler like it told me but there is no sound other than the occasional static. when i try to fix it on the game it says i have to go to my xbox guide.... i need help please idk what to do. thanks <3 Open Question: its a xbox headset question...help please.?

"RE: its a xbox headset question...help please.?" Well if you are using a Turtle beach headset first of all make sure all the proper cords are connected. If it is just your standard headset. Press the guide button, Go over to settings and choose preferences then Voice, then make sure it is set to Play through Headset on the Voice output section.
