Why do my Xbox 360 controllers keep disconnecting?

Thank author of this post/commentWell it says I still have 3 out of 4 bars of battery life left, but sometimes if I barely hit it they will disconnect. Lately, though, they keep just randomly disconnecting for no reason, sometimes to the point where it makes me thing the batteries are dead, even though they aren't. What could I do to make this stop/what could be wrong

My controller did the same thing Try charging it the whole way then take it off the charger. I don't know why but my controller just stopped doing that. That's the only thing i did different.

I think it is already clear that the problem is no longer on the battery but with the controller. How long have you had your controller? How often have you dropped your controller? Keep in mind that there are various fragile and sensitive components inside the controller that may very well break or short circuit once a strong shock or water is introduced to it. How about trying other and new controllers?
