| Yahoo! Answers: How to change profile settings on XBOX Live? I'm trying to download demo's for rated "M" (it's okay with my parents, so it's not like I'm sneaking around or something). Every time I go to try downloading "Left for Dead", it says: The profile's rating does not allow this content. I figured it was family settings but that is set to Mature rating, so it should work. Therefor, I'm guessing it's linked to my profile, if it is, how do I change it? |
| I am not that sure if many people would love this matter. I have never been in that matter ad I hope many people would love to know much about that matter. I am really not that familiar on the things that I will be doing because I want to engage my self in that matter. I hope it will be possible and it will be soon to have that matter. |

This forums is going haywire with those kinds of forum members or should I say spammers. Sheesh! they are not even gamers or don't even know a thing about the topic but here they are blurting out nonsensical comments. These kinds of people really ticks me off.Going back to your question. I believe you are still under age right? Well, you can't really change your permissions to view mature content yourself as the console has strict protocols to "preserve" the innocence of young gamers as to not "corrupt" them. I have a work around that though, try making a new profile and using a different birth date (Be sure that the birth year makes you around 18 or 21) and voila! Instant access to adult content.... well not unless it is locked, thanks to your parents. |
