How can I get Call of Duty? - Modern Warfare 2
| How can I get Call of Duty? I am 13 and am very Mature. I have gotten straight A's at my school for the past 8 semesters, and am one of the best students in my grade (this past year I got to the regional finals of the Scripp's National Spelling Bee). I got an Xbox 360 two weeks ago, and have Halo 3: ODST. I will most likely be Pre-Ordering Halo: Reach in the next month. But unfortunatley, while I can get Halo, I have been banned from getting Call of Duty games. I am not allowed to get them because of blood/gore and because, according to my parents, they are pointless (my mom) and evil (my dad). I have seen all three Matrix films, which are pretty violent, and some pretty gory episodes of Lost. I have been petitioning for a while to get Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops with some persuasive writing, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. My mom "ins't crazy" about Modern Warfare 2 because she says that it is pointless, although 50% of her use of our home Desktop is Zuma and Bejeweled 2. My dad is simply against all video games, saying that they are bad and that he doesn't want Call of Duty in the house. He has never even seen a video of Black Ops and has already banned me from getting it, simply because the name is "Black Ops". Any suggestions would be aprreciated, but frankly I think that this is a lost cause. |
| If I am your parent I will get you everything want. Modern Warfare 2 and Call of duty will be in your room in no time as long as your grades never go away from the A status they will be yours. I appreciate all the effort the child is exerting in school and I believe that they need to chill out as a reward. getting black ops is far better than drugs. very far better. |
