Cloud Storage and Other Features Coming to Xbox Live - Xbox Live
| Cloud Storage and Other Features Coming to Xbox Live Besides Fun Labs, Microsoft also announced additional Xbox Live features like cloud storage for save games and Live Profiles, new dashboard interface, social beacons, expanded voice support for Kinect. For now there are sneak peek descriptions you can read over at Major Nelson's blog. Read it here for full details: |
| I am all alright with all these updates. They all will flush out more the xbox 360 experience. When gamers start exploring the dashboard itself looking for every nook and crannies, it only means that a game console has done something right besides game exclusives. As far as cloud storage is concern, I don't think it is advisable for a gamer to do this especially if he has an unstable internet connection or experiencing frequent disconnections. |
| "Yes to everything except cloud storage"
Well, every change is welcome in my opinion. But don't expect me to utilize that new cloud storage system, I am not usually online and I would like to continue my games even if I am offline and accessing my save games via a cloud storage is unnecessary. But if ou have a 24-hour seven days a week connection then why not? All I'm saying is when you already have your hard disk drive/USB flash drive to place your save games, why need a cloud storage? |
