Article: Fatalities with Over-Playing (part 1)

Thank author of this post/commentI remember my younger days, a time when video games dominated most of my time. I often stay long hours in front of a game and most of them time it even eat my time for sleep. It was fun thought but after long hours without breaks feels like your exhausted and you needed a break. I didn't know that what I have been doing could be dangerous and could even lead to fatality.

I have heard of many dangers involving over indulging in video games, as well as some scary stories regarding video games, and the way an addiction can really mess you up. Two of these stories include a Korean couple who let their baby die while they took care of their virtual baby, and another Korean kid who starved himself by not wanting to stop to eat, having played for something like 36 straight hours. As someone that can get addicted to video games, I decided to just give them up completely.

Thank author of this post/comment"It depends on the gamer"

I just find it stupid to completely blame it all in the video game industry or video games in general. It all depends on the person (the gamer), if he is weak to even control his gaming habit than it is his fault. You can't abolish something that has continually entertained millions of gamers all over the world. These acts of addiction doesn't reflect that of the gaming community as a whole.
